Reference: Benedict, E.L. & Benedict, R.P. (2004). How to analyze people on sight: Through the science of human analysis. Roycrofters, New York.
I'm reading this book, that I swear to myself that I'm going to finish (eventually).
It's about how to analyze people on sight, by the way how their body is built.
To motivate myself on continue reading... I will make a post about it.
One person type at a time.
Basically this book says that the person's size, shape and structure can help us analyze a person's personality. Like as how we can analyze the personality of one breed of a dog, to another.
Although as human beings we know that there are certainly a lot of factors that can contribute to a person's personality, the book explains that the types of people it describes are assumed to be the extreme or the pure person.. i.e. exclude the other factors that make us unique.
When you are able to master the basic types of people, then you will find it easier to at least be able to read people by just analyzing their physiology.
Okay, enough with the introduction.I'll go directly to explaining the five biological types of people according to the book.
1) The Alimentive Type - or "The Enjoyer"
2) The Thoracic Type - of "The Thriller"
3) The Muscular Type - or "The Worker"
4) The Osseous Type - or "The Stayer"
5) The Cerebral Type - or "The Thinker"
According to the book, it is important to know which type of person you are in order to be successful in your life. We should be able to maximize our body in what it was best built for.
Hmm, makes sense right?
Well anyway... I will update you on the following days for future details about each type.
I can't promise you when I will finish though, I have to admit... I'm a slow reader :))
But I promise I will finish this book!
