Day 11 - A picture of something you hate

I hate people who try to pull other people down in order for them to be on the higher place.

It's commonly referred to as the crab mentality.

A professor once told me that the idiom is unfair to crabs. Because crabs do not pull down each other, but rather they are helping each other create a pyramid or a ladder so they can escape.

Makes sense.

But unfortunately we are not crabs.

We are people and there are really those people who are pure of jealousy and envy in their hearts that instead of making a person their inspiration, they want that person to go down with them.

If not to go down with them, they just want that person to go down so they can take his place on top.

Does the world really run this way??

or better question, Is this the ONLY way that we can run the world??

What even frustrates me more, is that when those people who are pulling you down are also the same people who has the same blood running in your veins.

It is true and it is already a fact and sadly very common.

That most of the time, "blood is thicker than water" .. is no longer applicable 100% anymore.

I have heard many cases, where siblings, cousins, relatives or any blood relations have fought with each other due to disputations about finances and status quo.

My dad once told me, "money is the root of evil ------- to those who doesn't have them"

It makes me think that I'd rather favor socialites who love to stick to high people in order for their name to be carried on a pedestal as well... At the least these socialites do not pull down other people, but they instead leech to people on top with the hope that they are being pulled up as well.

Indeed, highschool never ends.
